Full Monty

VV brought me to diana king for full monty wax almost a month back,
amazing how time flies and yes - pictures are very very dated.
It honestly wasn't that painful, but take it from someone who finds the extraction process during facial absolute bliss... it might be painful for you.

Okay here's my pain-o-meter!
Eye brow threading - 4/10
Pimple Extraction - 3/10
Waxing - 4/10 ?
I can't think of any other painful things I've done so I suppose that's the
end of my very bleak list.
The difference between a good waxer and a bad one is how fast they do it. I was done in 5minutes!

The green blazer I got was... from a thrift store with an extra 50% off to boot, scccoorreee!
I love love love cheap thrills and great finds. I haven't shopped in the longest time (for almost 2 months now). All I got from the CLUB21 bazaar was a pair of shoes for Timon. I'm unleashing myself the moment I get to UK. I don't really want to lug a whole ton of 'new stuff I bought' over!

okay my younger brother just called me a bitch,
well so much for picking him up the past few days.
Need to remind my mom to pray doubly hard for this poor child.
He's seriously _______ ,
and I'm going to leave that blank for whatever yall reckon fits.
because honestly, one word isn't enough.

New Eyes *.*

I've zero new pictures to upload but since this is somewhere where I've penned down different walks of my life, I feel this pending need to blog about my lasik surgery on Wednesday.

I'm just entering my 3rd day of perfect eyesight and boyyy it feels !@#$%@# awesome. My latest favourite emoticon would be *.* because it's literally how I'm feeling every single moment. Everytime before I sleep I do this weird action of removing my spectacles - when it isnt there. How silly does that look? And sometimes I feel like plucking out the contact lens that's 'in' my eye but there's nothing *.*

This has got to be the most useful vainity surgery(apart from braces) ever invented. I no longer have to stuggle jogging with spectacles or splitting contact lenses. I'm so glad I don't suffer the usual dry eye syndrome and I think the starburst nightlights actually look... pretty! Like fireflies but huge ones.

Thank you Dr Julian Theng for the awesome awesome warm treatment I received throughout the entire process, I was so well taken care of I have no fear.

If anyone has any questions pertaining to lasik surgery ask me if need be! ;)

Nitey all x

twenty-four

It's almost 3 weeks since Timon enlisted, I'll be seeing him in 2 days and I'm super psyched! Time really flies, the last I updated was when he enlisted and now - he's coming out.

For the last few Harry Potter films, I try to dress more appropriately for the movie haha! Tim says nobody cares but I'm not dressing up for anyone to care, anyway. I feel awesome and empowered when I dress up so, it is a real confidence booster. My black lace cloak/throw is an awesome vintage find from hong kong AND obviously, my brogues from asos are super overworn. They match with everything! Don't ask me who I'm tryna look like from the show.. even though I'm wearing the time turner necklace, Hermione doesn't wear much black.

So for the past week, I've been attending all sorts of yoga classes, extremely fun albeit exhausting. Yesterday's body combat class sure k.o-ed my body, and hatha yoga immediately after that didnt really help release the muscles cause I woke up... with a major bodyache.

I'm finally finalizing my student visa tomorrow for the UK, my flight's in exactly 1 months time:( Please let time crawl, I'm not ready to leave everything behind yet.

Goodbye Hairy~!

So Timon finally had to scoot off to tekong yesterday,
I spent my last night with him (till 3 weeks later, weh!) running my fingers
through his head. I really like the feeling of shaven hair on my palms.
It's prickly in a gentle way and this time, accompanied with tim's smell haha.

I'm just hoping he doesn't get confined over the weekend too much because if I counted correctly, we've got about 11days together before I fly off :(

I'm going to occupy myself with night cycling with the boys, yoga and
whipping up healthy/vegan meals for myself.
I don't wanna grow fatter when I'm overseas zzz.

Phishing in the Evening

One of those rare, super busy aplenty of errands to run day happened a couple of weeks back, I remembered because it was one of my most productive days for the past 5 months. and also how relieve I was when I could finally rest, and just watch my friends cast lines into the reservoir, watch the dogs dragging their owners around and just stare into the tranquil waters and sky.

The sunset was beautiful that evening, weather cooling and calm. My first time witnessing timon catching something huge - that catfish atop which they let go eventually because no one was going to eat it. They played with the giant till it snapped timon's line, what can I say. Retribution.

Anyway I really like Timon's bermudas and his last shot of my hair. It has never looked prettier, it's pretty dry in real life though. People ask me a lot if I perm my hair, my answer's no. The same few people ask me agazillion times hoping that one fine day I'd 'slip up on my lie' and somehow reveal that I have indeed permed my hair. My answer's still no, I only curled it once for prom though.

My hair's a result from countless dye projects at the salon, absolutely zero brushing/combing, daily conditioning and bi-weekly masking. I also have natural waves which I absolutely hated when I was 14, I wanted to reborn/straighten it. and I'm thankful fo my mother everyday for not allowing me to. Can you imagine how huge my face will look in straight hair? D:

All this talk about fishing just made me super hungry for B&Js phishfood

Another day

Man my memory is comparable to a goldfish,
if there's anything worse than a goldfish, I'm that.

I cannot remember anything from this pictures taken except
the last minute plan to attack the buffet spread at Sheraton?
and happily strolling in Sephora, surrounded by a whole ton of makeup.

I think packaging is what really sells make up.
Had such a tough time resisting buying everything pretty :(

And guys, coffee freaks, please go try Coffee Bean's Ultimate.
My usual order is Ultimate with low fat milk and no whip cream,
but that day they had a new flavour which contain oreos on top on all the coffee goodness.

That day reminded me how boring Orchard road was, and Singapore as a whole.
Typing this just got me all excited for UK as well

Btw I've booked my flight tickets! 18th September Sunday Midnight flight.
It'll mean so much if anyone sent me off,
I'll miss Sg for sure, the people, the food and the timon.

Last of Macau

So this is probably the last of Macau till a long time later,
I've enough of the insane egg tarts and casinos.

This time round we actually made it to the ruins of St Paul,
not as spectacular as they make it out to be...
Really crowded, there's no way you can take a picture without including a stranger.

Pictures of Timon taken by me while I was looking at his new hair,
and thinking this is probably our last plane ride together for a long long while.
But hey I was wrong, we've leaving again this Friday~~!

And yes, I still want very much to try bangs but... my pimple fortress of a forehead doesn't approve so I bought
this fake clip-ons ^^

Timon was right, I haven't worn it yet.

Second Last Haircut

This post is littered with Timon's picture, only because his china hairdresser
did a smashing job to the mop he had before.
One of the cheapest haircuts he's gotten in his life,
and the best job done I reckon - I really like it!

Complete with hair wash, curls blown into the right places and
possibly the worse shoulder massage I've ever gotten,
my $10 was worth it.

And yes, I skipped the shoulder massage after 20seconds -
there's no form of oilment so the guy ended up bruising my shoulders.

One of my favourite buys from this trip, that pocket watch.
I've been lookin for a decent one without any spoilers.
i.e - with terrible wording inside / outside.
This one's simple.

We had our dinner at 12:30am (says the pocket watch on top) at the venetian.
I had to foresake my beloved chicken skin to make up for
all the carbs I've consumed.
Tim and I sat outside starbucks for a while to tranny watch.

After dinner, we strolled several casinos and finally,
settled at Grand Lisboa.
Where Tim lost money and I got scolded by the cantonese
security guard for using my Ipad in there.

I was playing zombie cafe,
I don't see how that helps anyone cheat at the baccarat table...~

The Anti-Pig

Just another day in Macau, this time we took a ferry over to meet Wobin, michelin wontons
and Mr. suckling pig.
I hardly eat pork(because chicken&fish rules),
this suckling pig is probably the last pig I'm eating
- especially after reading/watching this video- poor piglets :(

This suckling pig had to be pre-ordered a day before with 100sgd deposit,
and it's stuffed with awesome glutinous rice and the skin's super dupeerrr crispy.
We skipped the $100 deposit part all thanks to Ahmad's persuasion.

That day was also Tim's last day of being a mop head.
The next day, we finally plucked up some balls to cut our hair at a china salon.
He spent 30 minutes sulking on the chair,
but our hair turned out pretty awesome so the sulking was very unnecessary.

and.. realize china really likes hotel rooms with a transparent toilet.
We (obviously) did not request for it,
it was given.
Funny thing though, they gave Tim's parents a room with a fully covered,
decent toilet.
It's just us, maybe.

Everyday is Friday

Last week we made our way back to Macau again,
We're hardly gambling addicts. We go just for the thrill of getting out of the country for cheap
and checking-in into a beautiful, huge hotel - unlike the mouse sized ones in HK.

T'was scorching hot there but humidity levels were slightly lower.
This time, we managed to figure out most of the chinese menus and
ordered egg/milk custards which tasted heavenly.
It's like egg tarts without the crust, just the center yummness.

Tim and I hit our 3.167 years today, we celebrated with Limitless and
imaginary NZT pills. A ton of snuggles in the cold room with nice green tea and
my watermelon slices.

Ended our day with crabs and great friends at Famous Kitchen.
We must make everyday count from now on till He goes bald for army and till
I leave for Birmingham.
